Herb-Butter Hanger Steak

Seared hanger steak rested under melting herb butter and finished with sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 2 hanger steaks
  • 60g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Fresh thyme and rosemary
  • Olive oil
  • Flaky salt
  • Cracked pepper

Method

  1. 1Pat the steaks dry and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Sear in a smoking-hot pan until a crust forms on both sides.
  3. 3Add butter, garlic, and herbs and baste continuously.
  4. 4Rest under the herb butter, then slice against the grain and top with sea salt.
