Ingredients

  • 500g flank steak, sliced
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 4 scallions
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. 1Coat the beef in cornstarch and fry until crisp at the edges.
  2. 2Simmer soy, sugar, garlic, and ginger into a glaze.
  3. 3Toss the beef in the glaze until sticky.
  4. 4Finish with scallion batons.
